Interventions
In Person, Anywhere
“My goal is for your intervention to feel more like a family meeting to support the person that you love and care for.”

Desperate.
You’re desperate to figure out how to help this person in your life. You see how they’re drowning and how they can’t seem to get relief from the addiction.
And the horror show just keeps playing on repeat as their life falls apart.
Over and over with the same behaviors, the same struggles, and the same outcome.
It’s getting old and exhausting. But mostly?
It’s getting scary.
It feels like you’ve tried it all when it comes to helping this person in your life. And nothing is sticking.
Addiction keeps showing up and it feels like they are holding a live hand grenade that they are not going to let go of in time.
…too bad you can’t just pull the pin yourself and chuck it off a cliff. Ugh.
But you still want to keep trying, and you still have even the smallest crumb of hope that something can help…that something can finally help this person in your life and finally see the addiction fade into the rearview mirror.
But how? How does this happen? What’s left to try?
Cue the intervention. Please.
So you sign-up for an intervention, and your stomach drops like a ton of bricks. You’re feeling tons of nervousness and panic as you think about how it’s going to play out, how this person will take it, how it’s all going to go…
Anybody have a crystal ball?! Anyone…? Anyone………?
Bueler?
But seriously. The worry and anxiety can hit after you invest in an intervention as you think about all of the what-if’s and question if this was the “right” thing to do.
BUT what can also happen - a sense of calm.
Because finally, this is going to be in someone else’s hands to help. To finally feel like you aren’t alone as you try and figure out how to help this person you care about so much.
To finally get a good night’s sleep because you know they are truly safe.
I’m here.
The relief of having an expert here, to guide the process, to even have a process that has been proven successful and helpful in getting someone to finally heal their addiction.
The process is a lot more comforting and helpful than you imagined.
With several sessions where we discuss the specific framework and protocol for the intervention, how to support that person and their family, your role and what the intervention will look like, deciding next steps after the intervention.
All of it is laid out so the intervention can be that much more successful, caring, and comforting.
No giant lizard-monster.
It doesn’t have to feel like some giant lizard-monster is going to wreck the city, leaving it in chaos and screaming.
What if it felt more like setting up for a picnic, and everyone knows what they’re bringing to the table. And it’s supposed to be a nice day with the sun out…
…maybe a little cloud with some rain will pop-up. Could be a little chance of thunder, maybe someone forgot napkins so there’s a little bit of messiness…
…but everyone is there, trying. Making an effort.
It’s a strategically structured and directed family meeting with the singular goal of getting your loved one into treatment.
And there’s no giant lizard monster.
And then there’s going to be relief.
A ton of relief as the person you care about hopefully agreeing to the intervention, which means they are finally going to get the space and time to actually heal and work on their recovery.
Finally! Cue the transformation please!
“I am in long-term recovery myself. I was in denial for a long time that I was hurting anyone other than myself. The truth was I was hurting everyone that loved me. After the birth of my first child, I could no longer lie to myself about that. It wasn’t just all about me anymore. I accepted treatment by way of an intervention, and it saved my life. This is why chemical dependency and substance abuse are a passion of mine. I provide interventions across the country with the goal of getting a client into treatment. This often consists of detox, residential, sober living, outpatient treatment, and family recovery coaching.”

So why choose me to help you with your intervention?
I’ve been on both sides of an intervention.
I know what it’s like. What it feels like. The thoughts that go through a person’s mind and heart. The excuses we make why we can’t go to treatment right now. All of it.
Which means, we will have all the bases covered long before the actual intervention.
This makes me a unique fit for the intervention you are going to have. Not only do I have the expertise, the knowledge, the skills to lead you and your family through a kind, compassionate, confident, and healing intervention…
…I have the inside perspective from my own personal experience.
I am right there with you every step of the way, because let's be honest - holding an intervention and just thinking about doing one is scary and nerve-racking.
So I have it all laid out. A strategic structure where I am right there with you for each call, each moment, each session…
…each next step. With lots of digestible information, explanations, support, and guidance.
You don’t have to figure all of this out alone. And you can have it be a lot more successful and healing when you allow me to be a part of the intervention process.
Imagine finally feeling like the person you care about, the person you so desperately want to help, is back on track.
Is finally healing through the addiction, finding their best self, and living in such a different way than before.
Finally see them check into treatment, maintain a stable job, rock out to some new (and old) hobbies, watch their health improve, see them check back into their relationships…
…and watch the life come back into their face.
It can truly be a transformation as they heal and work on their recovery after an intervention - their whole energy is going to shift.
And all it takes?
Our intervention, with me as your guide and copilot.
Who are interventions for?
The Johnson Model (surprise model)
This model is typically seen for younger adults or adolescents who are still dependent on family members in their life. Maybe they’re in school and still dependent on a family member.
or
The Family Invitational Model
This is usually for someone that is older and with more independence, possibly a career, family, and responsibilities that they are supporting and caring for.
or
The Business Invitational Model
This is for a business partner/employee whose substance abuse is interfering with work performance and treatment is preferable to termination.
Even if it feels like the person you want to do the intervention on might not fit into these models, please reach out for a free 20 minute consultation so we can help determine a good fit.
What to expect in the intervention?
Step 1 - Free 20 minute consultation.
We start with an initial free consultation for 20 minutes. If it ends up being longer or you need more support initially, we can have a 50 minute session ($150.00).
Step 2 - Two weeks of preparation.
A 2 week lead-in involves up to (6) 50 minute phone/video calls (3 per week) with the family to go through documents, the process of the intervention, instructions of what to do, steps needed to support you, this person, and/or their family when they go to treatment, etc.
Step 3 - When is the intervention?
The intervention will be on a Saturday with the location to be determined (not their home) and is usually at a relative’s house, hotel, or restaurant (if business intervention). And the intervention is always in person.
Step 4 - How long is the intervention?
The intervention is typically one hour and can be somewhat flexible (sometimes will go all day if needed). The intervention will start at 10am and could go up to 5pm.
Step 5 - Post intervention steps.
This will involve transporting to 1 of 3 designated treatment options. I will accompany them from intervention to facility admission. Transport may include rental car, sober transport service, or airplane (if facility is not within driving distance). This will be arranged in our (6) sessions prior to the intervention and will be “add ons” to the initial intervention fee.
Step 6 - Support after treatment.
I also offer additional Family Recovery Coaching (10 session blocks, typically 2 sessions per week) starting while client is in treatment and continuing after completion of program. Please visit our investment page for session information
