Hi, I’m Patrick.
Obsessed with HoneyCrisp apples and buy them in bulk (I eat 20 per week)
Love going to the doctor and dentist. Does that make me old?
Would be a geologist or weatherman if not a therapist
Can easily lose track of time engaging in a discussion on existential crises
Can easily get lost in the vortex of lawn weeding
I have 7 children (14, 13, 3, 4 quads that are 1 year old) and became the father of quadruplet boys at age 50!
Your best life.
I know it feels like a mountain to climb to find a good therapist. The doubts of it being “a good fit” or if any progress will even happen are real and are understandable.
Maybe you’ve tried therapy already and you’ve read all the self-help books you could find and still - you’re not where you want to be in life.
Something is missing.
The struggle, the heaviness, the loneliness, and the hopelessness are following you around like little dark (very annoying) clouds that you just can’t shake.
Not without that extra guidance and support from a counselor or therapist already waiting to help you tap into your best self - your best life.
Ultimately, you just want to find that therapist that you feel heard by, maybe crack a laugh or two with, connect with about your pets and your people, and to actually find yourself looking forward to your sessions with them.
And to actually start making some real progress with.
I get it. And I want that for you too.
That’s why I make sure to see if we are a great match, right from the start. In a comfortable and easy-going, free 15 minute consultation.
I don’t want to waste your time or investment in your own healing.
“My hope is for you to be able to develop the space in your life to grow into the person you were really meant to be.”
- Patrick Hagler
So what can you expect from me as your therapist?
I have been told that I don't sugarcoat things, that I say what needs to be said, but in a gentle, non-judgmental way. I will be totally present and invested in our sessions together.
You can expect me to be serious about your healing, but also silly and irreverent at times. With a huge dose of calm and with a dash of excitement.
As a Gestalt and MBCT therapist I don't focus on the past and typically don’t refer to it unless necessary. I work in the here-and-now primarily.
Ultimately, I am going to be human with you in our sessions, while also bringing expertise, education, and coaching so you get exactly what you want out of our sessions.
